1953 Buick Skylark Convertible

General Motors’ desire to build unique and special cars for 1953 resulted in its adding the Buick Skylark to its Buick Special, Super and Roadmaster Convertibles.

Buick built just 1,690 of these Skylarks and priced them at $5,000 each, a substantial amount over the other Buicks.

In 1964 Buick built another Skylark which had a design much different from the 1953. 1954 was the last Skylark built
