1958 Chevrolet Impala Convertible

The ’58 Impalas sold well despite stiff-for-Chevy prices. Chevy reached upmarket with its Bel Air Impala models. The ragtop stickered at $2,734.00.

This design was totally different from the ’55, ’56, and ‘57 and the 1958 design lasted only one year.

The 1959 Chevrolet was totally different with horizontal fins on the rear. Only recently has the 1958 become a collector’s choice. This model car sold at Bennett-Jackson Scottsdale auction in January, 2004, for $73,440.
