1931 Ford Railway Express

This was the last year when the Ford Model A offered only a 4-cylinder flat head engine.

In 1932 the first Ford V-8 came out with a whopping 65 horsepower.

The 4-cylinder had just 50 horsepower. Look at the size of this vehicle and ponder how much of a load it could have carried with the small 4-cyclinder engine.
