Ford

1940 Ford Convertible

This racy-looking deluxe convertible coupe, priced at $849.00, was Ford’s only open car in 1940, and 23,704 were produced.

Of all the classic Ford automobiles, none has been more popular than the ’40 Ford. They have been restored to original condition or, in many cases, have been turned into "hot rods."

There are still thousands of these cars in the U.S.
