Hupmobile

1926 Hupmobile

Hupmobile built cars from 1908 to 1941. Robert and Louis Hupp were its founders.

Their cars finally had electric lights installed in 1914. By 1923 they were selling 38,000 units per year.

Balloon tires were added in 1925, the year when Hupmobile began to build an 8-cyclinder engine.

This 1926 Hupmobile has a 6-cyclinder engine, which was the first year Hupmobile built a 6.  The car cost about $1,295.00.
