1958 Lincoln Continental Mark III

The 1958 Continental was again part of the Lincoln lineup.  To say the new Continental Mark III was large and luxurious would be an understatement of major proportions.

The wheelbase was 131 inches with a 229 inch overall length.  Like all 1958 Lincolns, they had a 430 cubic inch, 350 horsepower V8 engine.  Convertibles had a steel boot that flipped up and back to allow the top to be raised or lowered.  This eliminated the need for a vinyl boot.

The pattern from the grille was repeated in the panel around and between the tail lights.
