1955 Mercury Montclair Convertible

Mercury was established as a separate division in 1955, and the Mercury Montclair introduced "low silhouette" styling.

In 1955, the Mercury Montclair featured a redesigned bumper grille housing.  In addition to a round medallion and the model name on the front fenders, Montclair's also had a narrow band of chrome under the side windows, which outlined a small panel.

They were slightly lower than other Mercury models.
