1964 Mercury Park Lane Convertible
This is the car you bought if you wanted Lincoln luxury and didn't have Lincoln cash. It was one elegant automobile for its time.
The Park Lane returned as Mercury's top of the line series. A wide band of tire level chrome trim, running across the body sides, set it apart from other Mercurys. Its interior featured full leather seats as an option, and large, walnut toned door panel inserts. The inserts came standard. The Park Lane convertible, like the Monterey version, came with a glass rear window.
Production of this model was 1,967 with a base price of $3,549. Pillarless fastback styles were called Marauders. |
