1949 Oldsmobile 98 Convertible
Like its counterparts, the 1949 Buick Roadmaster Convertible and the 1949 Cadillac convertible, both of which had the same bodies as the 1949 Olds 98 Convertible, the 98 Olds was the top of the line of its make.
Olds had always been ahead of its time and had started using the Hydramatic automatic transmission in the late 1930's.
It also had developed a reputation for building powerful V-8 engines.
However, unlike the Buick and Cadillac convertibles, few people thought the Olds would become a classic. Few were maintained and preserved.
Finding this ’98 convertible took us over 4 years. Â Â |
