1949 Oldsmobile Holiday

Along with Buick and Cadillac, Olds debuted a "hardtop convertible" for ’49, the lush Ninety-Eight DeLuxe Holiday. At $2,973.00, it was snapped up by 3,006 eager new-car buyers.

It took us ten years to find this car. We found only two and the owner of the other Holiday would not sell it to us.  We dismantled this car and found no rust in its body. The engine is excellent although the paint was in horrible shape as was the interior.

When we finish this car it will be in perfect condition like the ’49 Buick Riviera on its left and the 1949 Cadillac Coupe DeVille on the left of the Buick Riviera.  We know of no other car collection which contains these 3 milestone General Motors Cars.
