1953 Oldsmobile 88 Convertible
Oldsmobile and Buick were the only General motors companies in 1953 that built two sizes of convertibles.
The smaller Olds was the 88, which had a smaller body than its larger brother, the 98. Both had the same V-8 engines.
The Olds Super 88 had the "Rocket" engine and was really the "hot-rod" of the GM cars.
The olds 88 convertible is one of the most difficult cars to find, as we know of only one other.
