1955 Packard Caribbean Convertible
The Caribbean was first built in 1953 when all the car makers were building specialty cars. For example, GM built the Olds Fiesta, Buick Skylark and Cadillac ElDorado.
Stylist Dick Teague conjured a remarkable ’55 facelift that made Packard’s ’51 body shell look almost new.
The Caribbean ragtop again topped the line at $5,932.00. This model car sold at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction in January, 2004, for $58,320. Â Â |
