1952 Pontiac Hardtop

General Motors introduced the "hardtop convertible" in 1949 with the Olds 98 Holiday, the Buick Roadmaster Riviera and the Cadillac Coupe de Ville.

In 1950 General Motors added the Chevrolet Bel Air and the Pontiac Catalina as "hardtop convertibles."

By 1952, the Pontiac Catalina Hardtop had become one of GM’s most beautiful cars.
