1937 Studebaker Pickup

This truck was restored by Lloyd Mayes, a Las Vegas resident who passed away this past year. All of Lloyd's restorations went far beyond what the quality of the vehicle originally was.

Powered by a straight six cylinder, 86 horsepower engine, light truck buyers could enjoy the benefits of Studebaker passenger car styling. Note the interior is of the finest leather.

All 1937 Studebakers had new front end styling. Hoods were of one piece construction. They were hinged at the cowl and raised from the front. The slanting, rounded radiator shell had horizontal grille bars. The top portion of the grille bars extended along the sides of the hood, forming ventilating louvers.
